Описание

История Равенны — детектив, триллер и мелодрама одновременно. Именно здесь решалась судьба поздней Римской империи. Одной из ключевых фигур того времени была Галла Плацидия — дочь императора, пленница, а позднее вдова короля готов и регентша. Наша экскурсия будет посвящена остросюжетным поворотам в её судьбе и судьбе Равенны в эпоху перемен.

Что вас ожидает

  • Мавзолей Галлы Плацидии — скромное снаружи и потрясающее изнутри здание — прекрасно сохранившиеся мозаики рассказывают о вере в жизнь по ту сторону бытия и долгожданное единение с Богом
  • Базилика Сан-Витале с великолепными мозаиками и история императорской пары Юстиниана и Феодоры, которые сыграли важную роль в истории Восточной Римской империи
  • Памятник Данте Алигьери, похороненного в Равенне. Вы узнаете, как гробница великого поэта стала частью посмертной интриги
  • Баптистерий православных — важное для ранних христиан культовое сооружение
  • Центральная площадь и здание рынка начала 20 века — вы увидите, как современная архитектура вписывается в древнюю ткань города

При желании в середине экскурсии сделаем остановку на кофе в уютном дворике, а в конце зайдём в атмосферный ресторан местной кухни.

Я давно хотела увидеть мозаики Равенны, мечта сбылась и сбылась в чудесный солнечный осенний день с удивительно красивым человеком, Оксаной, которая смешала в замечательный коктейль историю, современность, красоту и свою любовь к предмету экскурсии.
