Описание

Орёл — город парадоксальных памятников и пёстрой архитектуры. Рядом с купеческими особняками стоят сталинки, а древние храмы соседствуют с домами, построенными по экспериментальным проектам 1970-х. Здесь каждый памятник и уличная скульптура — с подвохом во внешнем облике или истории создания. А каждый дом в центре — не такой, каким кажется. Заинтригованы? Тогда до встречи!

Что вас ожидает

Исторический центр
Я познакомлю вас с самыми старинными и красивыми зданиями: церковью Богоявления и Михаила-Архангела, городовым Магистратом и мужской гимназией 18 века, Гостиным двором 19 века, Коммерческим банком начала 20 века. Покажу вам и лучшие здания советской эпохи: послевоенные Дом советов, «Дом книги» и «вынужденно уникальный» драматический театр. Вы узнаете, почему портрет Ленина на здании «Дома книги» называют «добрый Ленин» и где можно увидеть «злого».

А ещё

  • На стрелке рек Оки и Орлика вы увидите место, где была заложена Орловская крепость и возведён скандально известный памятник Ивану Грозному. Я расскажу удивительную историю создания этого памятника: почему он совсем не похож на настоящего царя Ивана IV?
  • Узнаете, как город назвали Орлом и связано ли это название с птицами
  • В сквере Танкистов поймёте, почему Орёл величают «городом первого салюта», увидите танк Т-34 и вечный огонь. Тут же обсудим, что не так с этим военным мемориалом и куда дели «настоящий танк».
  • А на улице Московской осмотрите самый высокий дом Орла 1930-х годов, который жители иронично именовали «орловский небоскрёб»

Пешеходная улица и сувениры
Улица Ленина — главное туристическое место Орла. Мы пройдём по старинной брусчатке, найдём старейшую в городе аптеку, купеческие и дворянские особняки со смешными и жуткими историями. Я расскажу вам об орловском электрическом трамвае, который старше московского и питерского. А ещё здесь вы узнаете о главном гастрономическом сувенире Орла — оригинальном хлебе: кем он был придуман и чем отличается от прочей выпечки? Не забудем и о других орловских сувенирах и их истории.

Орёл и литература
С 2021 года наш город носит статус «Литературная столица России». Вы увидите памятники и современные граффити, посвященные писателям-орловцам. Я расскажу, как в их творчестве отразилась история города, где жили герои и происходило действие известных рассказов и романов.

  • Возможно «настроить» прогулку под ваши запросы: сделать автомобильно-пешеходной (на вашем автотранспорте), обсудить индивидуальную программу и темы, которые вы хотите затронуть, добавить другие достопримечательности, музеи и места
  • Экскурсия может начаться прямо от отеля, где вы разместились, если он расположен в исторической части Орла. Или место встречи назначается в центре города, максимально удобное для того, чтобы вы смогли добраться до него самостоятельно.
