Узнаете, как «городу на воде» удалось не просто выжить в непростых условиях, но и стать одним из самых влиятельных мест Средиземноморья. Я расскажу о традициях, культуре и быте местных жителей. Покажу вам парадную и тайную Венецию, таинственную и романтическую!

Что вас ожидает

Королева Адриатики
Экскурсия начнется на площади Сан-Марко или в квартале Риальто. Вы отправитесь к истокам и узнаете, кто, когда и почему пришел в знаменитую ныне лагуну, что двигало этими людьми и как они смогли выжить. Я расскажу, как Венеция превратилась в одну из самых могущественных держав на всем Средиземноморье и по каким причинам пришла затем в упадок. Далее вы отправитесь на прогулку по этому восхитительному городу, полному тайн, легенд и загадок. Итак, на экскурсии вы увидите:

  • Риальто — исторический район Венеции, заселенный в далеком IX веке. Английская поэтесса викторианской эпохи Элизабет Браунинг в «Португальских сонетах» пишет об этом квартале: «Душа Риальто — это торговля». Я покажу вам настоящий венецианский рынок, где торгуют буквально всем. А еще расскажу о Казанове, «говорящей» колонне и венецианском горбуне.
  • Большой канал — самая известная венецианская водная артерия. Начинаясь с лагуны у вокзала, она проходит через весь город, повторяя перевернутую букву S.
  • Кампо (площадь) Santa Maria Nuova — вы узнаете историю уютной церкви, посвященной святой Марии Чудотворной.
  • Кампо San Giovanni e Paolo — cамая красивая площадь в городе после Сан-Марко. Вы увидите одноименный, построенный доминиканцами, храм, один из самых значительных в Венеции. А еще я покажу вам «Пантеон Дожей», где похоронены выдающиеся представители Республики, и конный памятник Бартоломео Коллеони, спасшего город от посягательства врагов.
  • Кампо Santa Maria Formosa — здесь я расскажу о городских праздниках, государственных заговорах и заговорщиках, куртизанках и эпохе Возрождения.
  • Мост Вздохов — вы увидите легендарный мостик через Дворцовый канал, построенный Антонио Конти в 1602 году. По легенде, название ему дал сам лорд Байрон.
  • Площадь Сан-Марко — главная городская площадь. Именно здесь традиционно проходили основные городские празднества, включая Венецианский карнавал.

Очень редко попадается гид, который реально вовлечён в то, что делает. Который на самом деле много знает и совсем не поверхностно. На этот раз нам повезло, встретить такого гида. Валерия, профессионал своего дела. Экскурсии в 2,5 часа маловато, и мы обязательно вернёмся, чтобы увидеть и узнать то, что не успели.
